To establish a good communication relationship with me, please remember the following:
1. Ensure that you have enough diapers for a one month period.
2. Ensure that you bring a change of clothes. For infants, several changes of clothes would be preferred.
3. If your child is 2 years old and above and not potty
trained, please work with me to ensure that you follow
my program at home. I cannot potty train by myself.
4. Work with your child on their numbers, ABCs, and
colors. I have a pre-K learning program, however,
you as a parent must continue to enforce this at home.
5. Consider using my payment website to pay your
childcare fee. It is easy and gives you the flexibility to pay,
have your money directly withdrawn from your checking
account, and you will see and have a record of all your invoices.
6. Please call me if you are going to be late either
dropping or picking your child up early. Because children are put down
for a nap in the early afternoon, loud noises, like the
doorbell may disturb them, therefore, if I know you are picking up
early, I can watch for your arrival.
7. Please remember if you have contracted to pick up
your child at a certain time, it is vital that you are on-time.
Although I am aware that emergencies do occur from
time-to-time, however taking excessive advantage of late pickups
strains
the parent, provider partnership, and prevents me from meeting my after-business
obligations.
8. Please keep in mind that children have different
mood swings during the year. It is not uncommon for a child to cry
periodically when dropped off or picked up in the
morning. These moods pass. Please do not be alarmed.
Following these simple steps will guarantee a smooth transition for both you, me, and your child.
